I'm currently about halfway through completing volume one in a collection of short stories that will cover crime, sci-fi and the erotic. Very much inspired by the pulp mags of the forties and fifties e.g. Weird Tales and Uncanny Stories. Not exactly one hand clapping but I'm confident my readers will enjoy the same retro sensibilities, absurdist humour and whacky surrealism!
Talking of one hand clapping, once I've finished penning the short stories I'm back to the next novel in the Noir Age. Will likely feature Orson Palmer in a reworked classic samurai tale, involving reasonably dangerous midgets and transsexuals fighting for control of illicit whisky (mind you, I might have to change the whisky bit).
